As you may know, The Luxury Spot is a huge proponent of transgender models. We believe beauty is beauty, regardless of genitalia and gender identity. Basically, The Luxury Spot loves transgender individuals as much as I love a good fire-crotch.

Tranny model Nadia E is one of my very best friends. We initially met when I took her virginity (back when she was a boy). I let her borrow her first pair of heels, and introduced her to the importance of a smokey eye (Mary Kate Olsen for CVS eyeshadow, if memory serves). Now, 12 years later I am developing a video game, and Nadia is not only modeling in it, but going on dates with donors to support the project.
The game is called The Midnight Grindshow and it revolves around a traveling sideshow full of crazy, sinister characters that you have to defeat in order to regain memories of your past. Obviously, it is based on my family at Thanksgiving dinner.
One of the cool things about the game is that in the beginning you get to choose whether you are a male, female, or something else entirely. (No PERSON left behind, #amiright?) Nadia plays one of the main characters in the game named Georgina Cercone; the mayor’s daughter in 1920s New York, who moonlights as a cat burglar, and ends up in a Romeo and Juliet type romance with a son of the mafia.
To help support the project, Nadia has agreed to go on dates with donors of $3,000 or more. At that price, you get the pleasure of Nadia’s company for dinner and a show (like an authentic escort, but so much more mysterious and elusive, right?). If that isn’t dedication to the arts, I don’t know what the hell is. You can view the Kickstarter video here, and if you feel so inclined can pledge a buck or two (or 3,000 in the name of dating the hottest tranny I personally know).
Nadia used to be a super hot guy, but now she is super hot girl, so it was only a matter of time before she got into modeling, (see one of her online campaigns here). I know many of you may not know a transgender model from a hole in the wall, so I interviewed the shit out of her and threw together a few pics. (Including a special surprise at the end; Hint: It’s a before/after pic. I have never been that great at giving hints.)
Oh goodness me, I forgot to tuck!
Me– People (and by people, I mean middle class heterosexual girls who have never met anyone transgender) often take issue with the usage of the word “tranny” referring to it as a derogatory slur. What are your thoughts on this?
Nadia– I have no issue at all with the word tranny. When bigots attack the transgender community, they normally use words like he-she, shim, or it, rather than tranny. As with any other word, its all about the context, and I use it as an abbreviation.
Me– Totes abbreve.
Nadia-Totes.
Me– What made you interested in modeling?
Nadia– My face, haha. No, but seriously I love everything about modeling from expressing myself in photos, to the lighting, makeup, and hair. More than that though, I want confused or transgender people to be able to look at me and see that there is a light at the end of the tranny tunnel. When I was younger I had nobody to turn to when I had questions, so the fact that transgender models are becoming more common is amazing, and I feel blessed to have the opportunity to be a part of it. I love the idea of modeling in the video game because of the interactivity. Instead of just looking at me, people can play with me.
Me– What do you hope comes from your modeling gig in The Midnight Grindshow?
Nadia– Fame, fortune, and $1,000 hair extensions! My favorite part about being part of the project is that even though we are mentioning it in this article, I am not playing a transgender woman in the game. Nowadays, more and more transgender individuals are going public, and being referred to as the gender they identify with. Playing the role of a genetic female goes a long way in breaking down the barriers of gender, and creating a conversation where gender roles are no longer black or white, male or female. I’m also planning to keep some of the clothes, but lets keep that on the down-low.
Me– So what would you say to any confused, potential transgender individuals out there?
Nadia– Accept that societies definitions of what you are supposed to be have nothing to do with you. Buy human hair wigs, if at all possible. And play The Midnight Grindshow when it comes out.
If I can do it, so can you.
Me- God, you’re so pretty.
Nadia– No, you’re pretty.
Both this clutch and this model are available for the affordable price of three thousand bones.
Sass, class, and a sequined ass. What more could you ask for on a Saturday night?
