Having frown up in a land far, far away a land filled with “Lakes & Reservoirs” [read: Upstate, NY. I can wield a rowboat filled with holligans & 30packs like you wouldn’t believe], I was immediately intrigued with Matthew Brandt’s innovative photography of the normally ‘pretty little trees’ typecast scenery. These photos make me happy in the worst way, particularly due to Brandt’s use of different exposures to manipulate what he says he saw right in front of him. DIG IT.
