If you follow Obama’s twitter, you probably saw this message yesterday: “As we recognize the immeasurable contributions of LGBT Americans during Pride Month, we renew our commitment to equal rights for all.”
Truthfully, I’m not always a huge supporter of Obama, but I like that he’s stepping up to the plate and recognizing the gay community. Too bad there’s still that whole marriage issue (but hey, who said anything about having equal rights?).
