Spring Wardrobe Tweaks, Continued

Written by Bryce

Spring wardrobes, here we come! If you read my piece on Spring fashion updates earlier in the week, you’ll be jazzed to know I’ve come up with a few extras that are easy peasy enough to start working in yesterday (if you’re into time travel or whatever).

1. You need a bag to go with those Tsubo beauties, duh. Katherine Kwei’s been known to put out fringey, fun bags but this one is extra great. It’s roomy (but not aggressively over-sized), neutral-but-detailed, and just the right price. Conservative luxury (a personal fave of mine).

2. A good, hydrating lipstick. Mary Kay, you make me want to hop in a Cadillac and zoom through the streets screaming “lipstick for life!” I love the True Dimensions formula. It’s buildable, hydrating, and long lasting.

3. Nail art. Nail art is STILL in (woo! another season!), but it’s getting more refined. We’re beyond splatter paint, we’re into the graphic prints that have taken over the fashion universe. I love this Mondrian look by NCLA’s line of nail stickers. All you need is some clear polish to seal the deal and an extra 5 minutes of your life to make it happen.

4. A new scent. I’ve always believed that a gal’s perfume should be a constant. Find something that works and stick to it for at least a full season, but feel free to change things up every few months. Lately I’m loving Agent Provacateur Petale Noir. It’s deeply floral, has a little musky note somewhere hidden in the back, and is light enough to wear during fab Spring weather. And the bottle is so ridiculously gorgeous you’ll want to redesign your vanity around it.
