Please take me away to the Steenberg Hotel in Capetown. I’ve been meaning to go to Africa, and think that this might be my next destination. Not only is it an extremely glamourous and five-star luxury hotel, but it also is a Vineyard specializing in all of our favorite wines.
As the southern-most wine farm in Cape Town’s Constantia Valley, Steenberg benefits greatly from the cooling influence of nearby False Bay. Since 1990, there has been 60ha under vine; of which 48ha have grown to bear fruit. The cultivars on the farm at the moment are: Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Nebbiolo, Merlot, Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon.
