When you think of fashion, sweatpants are usually the farthest thing from your mind. You know those gussied up gals that run into Bergdorf Goodman and Barneys looking like they tried too hard? Those ladies are not the kind of people that get noticed.

Harvard Business School conducted a study that showed luxury store sales associates took note of people who came in with workout clothes on or sweatpants. The sales associates in Milan thought that those who had the purchasing power cared little about what they actually looked like while shopping. You can read more about it, here. Personally, I think it’s all about the way you carry yourself when you walk into a store. For me, if I’m doing some serious shopping I want something easy and comfortable to take off so I can try on everything.
It’s grown into huge trend as of late with girls pairing awesome jogger pants with a Louboutin heel. Give it a shot the next time you head out for errands or a day of shopping. It’s worth it.
