Thanksgivukkah Donut: it’s a real thing

Written by Bryce

Thanksgiving and Chanukkah are colliding this year with the potential to create Jew feasts of epic proportions. If you’re not already familiar with the traditional Chanukkah donut called “sufganyot,” they’re a deep fried, round donut creation that reminds the Jewish people of the miracle of the oil lasting 8 days in ancient times (plus, most good Jews just enjoy a well-fried dessert).

But this year Zucker Bakery is taking Chanukkah to the next American level-fillings include turkey and gravy filling, spiced pumpkin with turkey and cranberry filling, or vegetarian (and more desserty) options like spiced pumpkin with cranberries, or sweet potato marshmallow filling. Genius, pure genius.
