Thanks, Lifetime Network, for always bringing us the hard hitting news-made-into-movies that we’ve come to love like Anorexic Step Daughter Mistress, Preschool Teachers with Blood on their Hands, and now FINALLY The Pregnancy Pact.
You may remember the “pregnancy pact” that made national headlines last year. Teens from blue collar Gloucester, Mass. (all were 16 or younger) made a pact to get pregnant at the same time and raise their babies together. There were 17 pregnant high schoolers in total, none of which were particularly bright or good looking, which makes us wonder what made them think they should be breeding en masse to begin with.
Pregnancy Pact was produced by Von Zerneck-Sertner films, the same production company behind Lifetime’s Natalee Holloway movie. The movie isn’t supposed to be a 100% factual depiction of the crazy teens in Gloucester- they were just the inspirational springboard for the movie.
