Move over everyone else that has wanted to do anything important! Burberry, the great maker of chic trench coats, has just opened up a whole Burberry beauty bar in London! If you didn’t know, Burberry has went through a lot of changes lately. Their super digitally in-touch CEO Andrea Ahrendts left the company and Christopher Bailey filled her role! We got some details on the new venture and it’s sure to be quite the hit.
The new store has opened in London’s Covent Garden. The idea is to bridge the gap between their fashion and beauty worlds. You’ll be able to explore the connection between make-up, fragrance and accessories through digital channels. The best part? It’s totally personal! Burberry does an amazing job at making you feel like an individual and not just a customer. The store is meant to really engage the customer with the beauty worlds. There’s also a beauty chandelier that will showcase different monthly beauty content that should bring beauty to life.
While Burberry is so tapped into digital, which is great, they’ll also be taking a cue from Apple and taking payment via iPad and iPhones. The Runway Nail Bar is going to be the best part of this. Using some awesome technology, you’ll be able to test out the newest Burberry nail shades and match it to your skin tone and take it for a digital test drive. They’ll also be offering beauty services inside because duh.
Burberry! Bring this to the United States. I’m desperately in need of a beauty chandeliear.
