For the past several months I was starting to wonder if all the love and fun in NYC was evaporating. The social scene, the glitter, the brunches, the shopping… all of it. That is until this past Sunday, when New York got back on its toes.

In fact, I’d venture to say that this photo says it all. New York City is back in brunch-humping action. Sadly, I couldn’t be there for this event because I was stuck in a wild commute en route from another city of social madness slightly to our south. Derek Loves Shopping’s brunch at Room 18 on Spring Street was a good time though, from what I’ve heard. Friends of TheLuxurySpot.com that attended included Britten Heft, Stephanie Newhouse, Tia Walker, Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen.
