Technology nowadays has made almost anything possible. I should know, since I add a dab of Photoshop to almost every photo that is taken of me. In recent years, photos have been popping up of historical images, enhanced with color. Sometimes the effect just looks stupid, but most of the time the images become hauntingly beautiful, because it makes them look recent, even though most of the subject matter is specific to a certain time. Here are a few colorful vintage images from the past that have been enhanced with color.
Albert Einstein and Dave Rothman in Long Island.
Elvis Presley meeting Richard Nixon in 1970
Policemen measuring bathing suits in Washington.
Bulletproof vest testing.
