Ingredients

  • 1 cup dill pickle juice straight from the jar!
  • 1/2 cup chopped dill pickles
  • 2 whole jalapeños chopped, preferably red for a fun color accent
  • 1 whole garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tbsp white or apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp table sugar
  • 1/2 tsp high-quality salt

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine pickle juice, chopped pickles, jalapeños, garlic, fresh dill, vinegar, sugar and salt. Blend until smooth.
  • Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally to let the flavors meld.
  • Strain if desired, though we strongly prefer the texture as-is.
