How to Erase Yourself From the Internet

Worried about being forever archived into the mysterious depths of Internet databases? Make some regretful decisions that ended up tagged on Facebook, such as hoop earrings with a Juicy Couture sweatsuit and spray tan? There’s a website to help you out of those unfortunate and annoying situations.

How to erase yourself from the internet

It’s called JustDelete.me. It’s a directory of URLs that highlights links to pages you may want to remove yourself from, so you don’t have to sit there thinking, “Wait, to what social media sites and retailer databases do I even belong?” Some sites make it easy to remove yourself, others not so much. JustDelete.me ranks each site’s removal process from “easy” to “impossible.” Want to remove your credentials from IMBD? No problem! Want to remove yourself from Amazon.com? You’re going to have to try a little harder. What about Pinterest? Sorry, there’s absolutely no escaping the clutches of Pinterest. That one’s ranked as “impossible.”

Emily is a New Yorker trapped in a Floridian's body and loves every minute of her big city life. With a major in international business and years of being surrounded by ill-fitting suits and all the wrong shoes, she learned that the importance of fashion needs to be communicated to the world. To her, fashion is on the same level as charity work and feeding hungry children. Emily can be found frolicking the streets of her gayborhood enjoying the off-color humor of the gays.
