Frustrating Versions of Every Day Objects

A Greek artist creates frustrating version of everyday objects.

I personally hate when my every day objects don’t work effectively. Trying to eat noodles is a good example, because every time I attempt it, I end up slowly drawing the noodles into my mouth using my tongue, leaning over a plate, before giving up and biting them in half. The noodles that remained outside my mouth fall sloppily onto the plate. My blind date realizes I will probably do this to his dick too, and asks for the check.

Every day household items are supposed to be designed to make your life easier, which is what makes the art of Katerina Kamprani so awesome. Katerina is an Athens-based architect who created a design project called “The Uncomfortable” wherein she took every day items and re-designed them to make you feel uncomfortable and frustrated by just looking at them.

I have to say, I like what she did with this project. Most of these items belong in a special layer of Hell reserved only for the time-wasting assholes that work at the DMV.
