A Few Fall Accessories I Can’t Live Without

Written by Bryce

Maybe it’s my fluctuating size (ah, the joys of third trimester pregnancy), but I’m totally basing this season around accessory updates. I know when I pop this little bundle out I’ll still have my great fashion doodads to accent whatever size I’ll be sporting. So here’s my roundup of cutesy goods I’m craving lately:

1. Colorful, updated rain gear. There’s nothing cuter than a good pair of boots in the ball, especially if they serve a real, functional purpose. These Ilse Jacobsen Hornbaeck rain boots in deep red are lace-up casual, made of sustainable materials (adios to PVC!), and go with just about everything in the rain. Have I mentioned that neons are SO early 2012 and reds are the new black? Go get ’em, tiger.

2. Lacy, rose gold accents. Let’s be real for a moment, this bracelet is to die for, right?! Rose gold made the big jump from big-face watches to delicate. femme jewelry this season and I’m in love with Stella & Dot’s Lace Cuff for $79. Try pairing it with all your existing metals, it’s meant to be an outfit-picker-upper.

3. Tights made for boots, AMEN. Ok, so boots jazz up just about everything. Tights make everything a little more sophisticated and sexy, but dammit, it’s so hard for them to last an entire day without getting all runny and ruined unless you have reinforced feet or the dreaded socks-over-tights thing happening. Hanes just reinvented our Fall season, gals, by channeling the footsie pajamas of our youths into these awesome tights. VOILA!

4. Friendship bracelets. They’re cute, they’re stackable, and these are for a mega good cause. Did someone say “perfect gift for the girl in the cube next to me’s birthday?” Cheap, chic, and a portion of proceeds gets donated to The Walkabout Foundation. LOVE. Check ’em out at AccessoryArtists.com
