As if Barbie doll lovers weren’t gay enough, Mattel had the good sense to come out with “Allan” in the middle of the 20th century. Allan was Ken’s best homie, the kind of guy that was down for whatever, whenever and always appropriately dressed in well-tailored doll clothes, clear-coat manicured, and complete with pre-coiffed wavy hair.
I’m guessing Allan got discontinued when Barbie realized Ken preferred him to her.
