Some people experience a strong connection with their dogs, myself being one of them. Growing up, we always made sure to give our dogs people names since we felt they were part of the family and not just a pet. Many of you out there feel the same way about your precious puppies, and I have news for both you and your pooch! Water4Dogs, the canine hydrotherapy center in Tribeca, is making a big splash for their two-year anniversary this Earth Day, April 22, 2010 from 5-7PM. They’ll be having an open house for your dogs to come in and try out the obstacle-loaded agility room, check out W4D’s underwater treadmills, and see the 8,000-gallon custom-designed swimming pool where pups come for fun open swims and canine hydrotherapy. You’ll also be able to pose with your pooch for a professional photo op, and tasty, grain-free doggy snacks will be compliments of the house! W4D’s canine care experts will also be available to consult about how to best care for your pet—whether they’re healthy and in need of exercise or recovering from trauma. And for those who don’t yet have a pet but have always wanted one, still come by! The W4D adoption center will be open for a meet-and-greet, and if you adopt a pet during the celebration you are welcome back for a complimentary open swim!
Wait! Can’t make it on Thursday? For one week following the anniversary bash, you can book an hour-long open swim for your pup for $20—half off the regular price—by simply mentioning the Anniversary Promotion with their reservation!
Awwwww. I wish my building allowed dogs but they are just mean and evil.
