Brad Pitt, hottie, is slated to retire from the bright lights in three years — when he turns 50.
Fuck his retirement announcement, Brad Pitt is gonna be 50 in three years?! That’s the real news here, in my humble opinion. When I was in grade school, I was mortified that my best friend’s dad was 50 because I thought it meant he’d drop dead soon. Obviously, I know that’s not the case now — being halfway to 50 myself, I know that 50 is the new 30 (at least, that’s what I tell myself). But it’s Brad Pitt! He’s like, a vampire who’s supposed to stay young and sexy and sparkly forever.
While I’m sure Pitt will take a hiatus, I can’t imagine he’ll never film another flick again. Celebrities can’t help but thrust themselves back into the spotlight after a couple of years of “retirement” (Hi Jay-Z). I’ll believe it when I see it.
