Decor Spotting: Origami Tea Bags

I have always said that good interior design is all about the details. Whether you are talking about a tiny hint of color in a monochromatic room to draw the eye in, or an organic hand-made knick-knack to break up a contemporary design, the tiniest details can sometimes make the biggest impression.

These origami teabags are a perfect example of small details that make a difference. When you have guests over and bust out these fancy-schmancy teabags, you are not only saying: “I am refined enough to drink tea in the afternoons”, but also “I care enough about the design of my place that I put effort into the user experience.” Good design is as much about the functionality as the form. Remember that, the next time you buy your Lipton tea in bulk from Costco.
