Did you recently cut your hair really short, watch Miley Cyrus at the VMAs, and realize you don’t want to have hair remotely similar to hers? Well, here’s a solution. It’s an all natural hair lengthening spray. Apply it daily, leave it in, and hopefully you’ll see some results faster than you would without this homemade hair growth treatment. It’s extra easy to make, so what do you have to lose, besides a resemblance to Miley?
You’ll need:
2 bags – Camomile tea (make sure it’s 100% camomile) or Peppermint tea
1/2 tbs – Dry Rosemary leaves
5 tsp – Lemon juice (from the bottle or the real thing) *This is added to lighten hair slightly. Skip it if you want.
1 cup – water
1 Spray bottle
Heat the water, and put in into a cup to steep with the two chamomile tea bags.
Grind up the rosemary leaves to make them as fine as possible. (A mortar and pestle would work wonders if you have one)
Remove the tea bags from the cup, and stir in the lemon juice then the ground up rosemary. Let the mixture sit for an entire day.
Before pouring into a spray bottle, strain the bits of rosemary.
Can you use something else besides rosemary leaves?
Rosemary stimulates circulation 🙂
Hmmm…I use baking soda to wash my hair and include drops of lemon oil, rosemary oil, tea tree oil, coconut oil and castor oil. These are great for hair, but only tiny amounts or you’ll get oily hair. My hair is cleaner, healthier, shinier, and grows pretty good.
when do you apply mixture? after or before washing your hair?
After shampooing and conditioner– don’t apply conditioner to your roots though!
Does 100% green tea work instead or chamomile?
