Weed.

I wouldn’t consider myself a druggie, but I have definitely tried my share of substances. In fact, there are very few things I haven’t tried (intercourse with a girl is on this list, and yes, vaj is totally a drug I’m lucky to count myself not addicted to). There are lots of reasons to take lots of drugs, but art is probably, by far, the most justified reason.

San Francisco-based artist Brian Pollett (aka Pixel-Pusha) embodied this when he decided to take 20 drugs in 20 days and illustrate the effects of them in graphic art. He said he “wanted to create opportunities to educate, whether related to psychedelics or art.”

Say what you will about drugs, but these pieces seem to pretty accurately portray the effects of drugs on the human mind, at least artistically. My favorite of the series is the last one of course, because love is definitely the strongest drug of all.
