Get Paid to Travel Around the World as a Vlogger

Written by Bryce

Want to get paid to travel around the world? This company is hiring.

If your longstanding dream has been to quit your desk job and get paid to travel, good news — there’s a company based out of the UK looking to hire you to do just that. The catch? They want a female vlogger with an open mind, video taking and mild editing skills, and a fairly open schedule. If you’re single, ready to mingle, and not tied down to a mortgage, this could be everything you’ve wished on all those birthday candles. We think it’s even better than the time we found out about companies offering paid menstrual leave.

The position of head vlogger (that’s a video blogger for those of you not in the internet know) is officially up for grabs at a rate of $27,000 a year, and will require roughly 37 hours a week of experiencing life on a global scale. You’ll be documenting it all on your iPhone, GoPro, and drone equipment and then uploading it to the HenHeaven YouTube account. HenHeaven is a UK-based company specializing in travel ideas for mostly single women, if you’re wondering.

While $27,000 doesn’t seem like a lot for a full time job, you’ll be basically without expenses as their in-house travel vlogger, meandering around the Earth from hotel to hotel, meal to meal, and basically just spending little bits of cash here and there on things like souvenirs, extra shots of tequila when you’re assigned a Mexico trip, new bikinis, and postcards to your mom back home.

The year-long work trip isn’t a good idea if you’re tethered to a family, spouse, or any other deep commitment, but if you want to get paid to travel and be the fabulously single woman you’ve always thought of yourself as, this could be everything your life needs. You’ve got to be confident for this one, though, because the company is searching for someone who is “incredibly comfortable” in front of the camera, and adventurous enough to pop over for Guinness tours in Dublin and beach excursions in Asia at the drop of a hat. You’ll be the face of the videos outlining the best things to eat and drink in New York, things to do in St. Maarten, and exciting animal experiences.

Want to apply? Send a WeTransfer link of your application video (no more than 2 minutes in length) to marketing@henheaven.co.uk along with an updated resume.
