Scott Baio, star of Happy Days, and his wife started an online war with the use of anti-gay slurs. GLAAD was not happy with the Happy Days actor’s, or his wife’s for that matter, choice phrases. RadarOnline.com has exclusive reaction from the Gay And Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD). “Using anti-gay rants to lash out at this media outlet serves no legitimate purpose,†says a spokesman for the media watchdog organization.
The virtual feud began when Jezebel.com published a timeline of Scott Baio’s tweets about taxes. This resulted in an eruption of criticism from him calling the editors “ignorant racists.†Then his wife, Renee, got involved via another social media outlet – Facebook, where she called the Jezebel editors “You bunch of FAR LEFT Lesbian s******es!!!!!!!†The vicious rant didn’t stop there – “No wonder you’re all Lesbos because what man in his right mind could put up with your c***ness? Scott Baio has more class in his p**s than all of you all!!!†Yikes. Now GLAAD is outraged. A spokesman tells RadarOnline.com, “It (the anti-gay rant) is misguided and contributes to putting LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender) people in harm’s way.â€
