JLo is celebrating her 55th birthday and her birthday party over the weekend gave us plenty of manicure envy. Her latest nail look is broken down below by CND and celebrity nail artist Elle Gerstein.
The party with Bridgerton-themed and served serious regency-core.
Here’s how to get JLo’s 55th birthday manicure:
INSPIRATION: “Jennifer’s 55th birthday party is an al-fresco Bridgerton-themed garden party! We’re definitely taking inspiration from that for her glam, and especially her nails. CND’s Moonlight & Roses is perfect for this as it gives that beautiful neutral white shade with a pearlescent finish,” says celebrity nail artist, Elle Gerstein.
“We’re also topping it off with some gold detailing to complete the look.” We love the gold detailing for Greek beauty looks, too.
How to get the look at home:
1. Begin with P.E.P. (for more details on the P.E.P. technique that promises lasting 14-day nails, visit this page).
2. Apply a layer of CND PLEXIGEL Bonder and cure in the CND LED Lamp using preset button 1.
3. Using CND™ Future Forms with CND PLEXIGEL Builder build desired nail length, shape and architecture. Cure using button 2B.
4. Clean with 99% IPA.
5. Shape and refine the nail using a 180-grit file & buffer.
6. Clean with 99% IPA.
7. Apply two layers of CND SHELLAC in Moonlight & Roses. Cure using button 2S.
8. Apply gold decal detailing to the nails and seal with a layer of CND SHELLAC No-Wipe+ Top Coat all over the nail and cure using button 3.
9. Moisturize with CND SOLAROIL to condition nails and cuticles.
PRO TIP: To recreate the look at home, apply one layer of CND VINYLUX in Moonlight & Roses to the entire nail. Finish with CND VINYLUX Long Wear Shine Top Coat for 7 or more days of high shine wear.
