Josie Maran, known for being hot, doing “Dancing with the Stars”, and in “Van Helsing” (I never saw it, but Matt is a fan), is now starting her own make-up line. Being some what of a make-up whore (meaning I’d sell myself for it) I was so excited when I saw this new line in Sephora. Her line is paraben free, organic, recyclable, cruelty-free (we heart animals), fragrance free, toxin free, basically everything free.  I do have a lot of respect for her though, because the stuff is actually nice, and I did watch her on “Dancing with the Stars.” There are tons of products in her line, but I picked three that I think everyone would like. If there are guys reading this, here is a picture of her to look at while you buy your girlfriend some make-up.
Make those shabby lashes disappear with her cult fave mascara (she dated David Blaine, my crappy attempt at making a joke about it). It contains organic ingredients like Jojoba oil, Argan oil and Beeswax to condition and strengthen as it lengthens and defines your fabulous lashes. Plus the wand is small enough where you can get really close to the lash line to make them look like they go on for days.
My personal favorite is the Bronzing Argan Oil. This Moroccan based oil is known for its curing properties infused with Vitamin E and fatty acids. It smells amazing (I’m big on smells) and it gives your skin a luxurious bronzing glow. Ashley slathered this all over her Irish skin and now looks taneriffic. Try mixing it with some of your tinted moisturizer or light foundation and dab on your cheeks and bridge of your nose for a shimmery summer look.
The Finger Paints set was calling to me. Its no secret that as a make-up artist, we break a lot of rules. One of those is that silly rule about never using your fingers! Now Josie Maran has put that rule and thrown it out with this set. The “Lovely” set comes with a bronzer, and three shadows that you can create a complete look all with the touch of your finger. To check out these or anything else in her line, go to www.josiemarancosmetics.com or to Sephora.
