Keep Gifting, It’s Good for the Sole

Written by Bryce

Mother’s Day was yesterday, and I’m sure a lot of you lazy bums didn’t make it back home to spend the day with Mom… and you’re probably still putzing around trying to figure out just what to bring her when you finally have time to see her this week or next.  Let me make this easy for you.  Whether she’s your mom, a favorite aunt, really nice lady next door that has a bunch of kids, the woman that sits in the cubicle next to you, or whatever, comfortable shoes are always appreciated. So, for this, I recommend a summer staple for the women in her 30’s and 40’s: The Rockport Sandal.

I won’t lie to you… they’re not MY style, but I’m only 25, and I’m the type of mom to be seen running around town in stilettos with my infant (haven’t fallen over yet).  But there’s a whole set of more sensible moms out there that prefer not to break their necks while strolling, running errands, and just being casual.  These moms need the Oteren sandal by Rockport, for $65.  They’re made with ultra complicated technology that basically amounts to: your feet will feel fantastic and you won’t get blisters.

If you don’t know your fave mom’s shoe size, no worries, you can always fatten her up with cookies from Park 19!  Our favorite was the Horsetracks cookie… it’s sweet, salty, nutty, and downright addictive.  We had them in the office last week, and Ashley, Matt, and myself were basically fighting for the last crumbs.

There’s a good chance yo’ momma will be too fat to fit into any clothes after all these cookies and comfortable shoes, so if you need one more gift, I’d say it should be an accessory like a handbag from Timi & Leslie. The best part of this bag is that it’s really suitable for anyone’s needs… perfect if you’re a single girl about town or a lady with a young baby (there’s an option to get this bag with a changing pad and all sorts of other fun baby devices).
