This past Saturday, Kevin Jonas finally said “I do,” to his longtime hairdresser gal, Danielle Delesea at Oheka Castle in NY. The groom apparently picked him own custom-made wedding jewelry by CliQ.
He donned CliQ collection’s platinum cufflinks with 3.5 carats of diamonds worth $15,500, as well as $8,900 tuxedo shirt studs surrounded by diamonds, and a platinum tie accent with round diamonds for $5,400.
“Since Kevin’s accessories are set in platinum, they will last forever and become family heirlooms,†says jewelry expert Michael O’Connor. “Kevin can give them to his brothers for their weddings, or pass the jewelry along to his future children as keepsakes,†adds O’Connor.
Designer Eric Alulis from CliQ Jewelry spent months perfecting Kevin’s request. “We recommended Kevin wear platinum because no other metal is capable of showing off the 4 carats of diamonds and fine hand setting work in our pieces,†says Alulis.
This isn’t the first time Kevin has requested platinum jewelry. He purchased a platinum 3-carat diamond engagement ring from Jacob & Co. for his bride, Danielle.
Plain old fug. Thankfully his nasty tastes didnt get in the way of her ring. Did a quick little google search and I’m pretty jeal – not going to lie. 😉
