One man and his family live in a fantasy castle that transforms into a truck.

Being from the south, I know a lot of people that live in mobile homes, and wish they were castles. If I’m honest, I’ve even dated a few of them. Apparently this dream isn’t that uncommon however, because a New Zealand couple has transformed their truck into a mobile fantasy castle.

Justin and Jola Siezen, along with their son Piko faced the issue of life on the road because of Jola’s job as an acrobat. As anyone who has ever taken a bus across country knows, the traveler’s life isn’t for everyone. The couple remedied this by turning a normal truck into their dream home. The mobile castle started off as a pet project, but soon took on the look of art. It contains a full-sized kitchen, a lounge area, dining table, and bedroom, mostly made of recycled and reclaimed materials. The retractable turrets on the sides contain a shower, composting toilet, and washing machine, which run on solar panels, gas, and a fireplace. The couple captures rainwater on the roof, which doubles as a balcony with a hammock and bathtub.

I’m sorry, but I have never seen mobile home with this many great amenities, let alone a mobile home that looks like a freaking castle.  If I ever find myself needing to travel the country, this is how I am going to do it.
