3. Be smart about buying in bulk. Some items pay to buy in bulk, but others just don’t make sense. For example, if you’re a normal human you’re always going to have a real need for toilet paper– buy all 36 rolls! But let’s say you notice a low price on a 12 pound sack of zucchini at the local Costco. Do you really need 12 pounds of zucchini or will that just take up kitchen space? The general rule is to buy everyday items in bulk (toilet paper, paper towel, soaps, etc) and leave the fresher foods to smaller, more frequent and local purchases.
