Got a serious packing problem but still haven’t come to terms with it? Tired of all that excess baggage? Then this post is for you girlfriend. Read on for a few handy dandy tips, a ton of cool shit and basically everything you need to know about packing for flying…cause we’re the experts, duh.

1. Color Coordinate: Unless you’re moving, it’s really not necessary to bring everything you own with you. Pick a couple pairs of your favorite shoes (make sure at least one is practical), and then color coordinate the rest of your outfits around those shoes. You’ll save a lot of space and time spent packing, plus you might even have enough room to buy a new pair while vacationing. Just don’t be this chick:

2. Carry On Your Luggage: If you’re planning a quick weekend getaway, our best advice is to carry on your luggage. You’re allowed one small bag and one personal item, which should mean plenty of space for only a couple of days travel. Just make sure to abide by your airline’s carry on regulations so you don’t get screwed over in the end and have to check all those cute bags.

3. Buy It Travel Size! There’s nothing worst than getting all of your toiletries jacked at the airport because you blacked out the 3-1-1 rule. What’s the 3-1-1 rule? That annoying little regulation that basically says all liquids, aerosols and gels must be contained in a 3.4 ounce bottle (or less), placed in 1 quart-sized clear zip top bag and only 1 bag allowed per traveler.

Here are some sweet suggestions that meet requirements to help a sister out:
