I assume every man and lesbian out there is guilty of having owned at least one pair of carpenter jeans during the 1995-2007 period. Did you or your man own a pair?
Were you heavily involved in general carpentry? All the guys I know (Jews, Asians, and homos) barely know where to find a hammer, nevermind hang one from their pants. What irks me more is that there’s a healthy portion of the general population that thinks wearing these is A-okay. It’s not. Unless of course you’re part of some type of union, can be found regularly working on construction projects, and/or find yourself wearing them in an ironic way because you live in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
