Tuesday, July 28: I loved it. Matt and I dressed in our finest Asian silks (mine was a fabulous silver silk dress, his was a coordinating silk Hermes tie with a well-fitted suit) in honor of the Asia Vision Foundation’s NYC fundraiser.
I had the distinct privilege of co-hosting this memorable event. Geishas in dresses greeted us as we approached the lobby of the incredible and newly constructed Centurion building by I.M. Pei. The Asia Vision Foundation aims to create a greater cultural understanding between the East and West and build more open, just, and peaceful societies in ways that honor their unique cultures and values… Who doesn’t love that?
The lovely hostess with the mostest, Pia-Maria Norris floated through the room in a gorgeous ensemble that made Matt and I stop and audibly say “Wow, she’s amazing.” And she is. Gorgeous inside and out. Fellow co-hosts including NuNu Deng and Victor Media-San Andres entertained the beautiful people that attended including Aaron Cohen, author of Slave Hunter, Emma Snowdon-Jones, Caylan Ford, Stephen Norris (Pia Maria’s hubby), and Jennifer Serdienis.
you did it again..make me melt w/your smile..
