Worth Trying: Nescafe Memento in Mocha

Written by Bryce

I am Bryce and I am a chocolate addict. I am also a very, very tired lady between popping out kids (the 2nd one is only 6 weeks old), working like a maniac, and constantly being on the road (at least 3 days per week). I never, ever liked coffee during the weary days of college, the post-nightclub early 20’s, or even after my first little one was born. I simply thought coffee tasted like dirt and that I’d rather spend my tastebuds on hot chocolate or cutesy teas with names like “Autumn Vanilla Rooibos Chai.” Then I tried Nescafe Memento in Mocha. I’m still not a hardcore coffee girl- but I love the way a half packet of this stuff sort of melts into my 5 ounce tea cup, gets instantly frothy, and perks me up even though my taste buds have totally been tricked into thinking it’s pure cocoa.

It’s cheap and easy, too- just the way I like it. $6.99 for a box of 8 single servings at Staples.com. And I think the best part is that it’s totally portable. Consider putting a few of these little packets in your carry-on for the next time you fly- they beat the crummy coffee and tea you’ll find on board and require no additives like sugar or milk because they’re a one stop shop.

FYI- I was not compensated for this review, just a few samples to taste, and enough caffeine to keep my fingers going.
