Find the secrets to young living here…

We all want to stay young forever! No one wants to feel time and age take a toll on their body–make their muscles stiff, their joints ache, and their mind slow. Young living is the key to fighting back the effects of age, but what does “young living” really mean? Here are a few things to make a part of your life every day:

  1. 6 to 8 hours of sleep — Your body will tell you how much sleep you need, so make it a point to sleep until you’re ready to wake up.
  2. Moisturize –– Keep your skin soft and hydrated by using natural moisturizing lotions and creams. Hydrated skin is protected from damage.
  3. Eat veggies — Veggies are packed with dietary fiber that will keep your digestion regular, prevent colon cancer, and promote weight loss. They’re the key to a healthier you!
  4. Stress less –– Fight the stress in your life. Stress is a risk factor for nearly every major disorder and disease on the planet.
  5. Cut sugar –– Sugar causes your body to age much faster, and it can be harmful for every organ in your body. Say no to sugar whenever possible!
  6. Add fish to your diet –– The Omega-3 fatty acids will do wonders to keep your body healthy and strong!
  7. Find your happiness –– Find that hobby, passion, or occupation that makes you happy, and do it as much as possible.
  8. Add fruit to your life –– A few servings of fruit per day will provide antioxidants that will fight the effects of aging. The more colorful, the better!
  9. Use sunscreen — Protect your skin from the sun, and it will stay healthy for longer! The sun causes your skin to age at a much faster rate, but sunscreen can help to protect it from damage.
  10. Reduce alcohol –– A glass of wine, a beer, or a shot of whiskey, tequila, or vodka should be all your drink every day. A little alcohol can be heart-smart, but too much can lead to internal damage.

  1. Smoke less –– Or just quit altogether! Smoking increases your risk of heart disease, cancer, and other health problems drastically.
  2. Get more time in the sun –– That will give you plenty of Vitamin D, which is needed for healthy skin and healthy bones.
  3. Use less makeup –– Cosmetics like foundation, lipstick, and powdered makeup will damage your skin, affecting its pH levels and reducing hydration.
  4. Get more exercise –– No less than 4 hours per week is enough! Try to aim for 6 to 8 hours per week for maximum health.
  5. Drink more water –– Your skin needs more water, but so do your muscles, organs, glands, and internal systems. No less than 8 glasses per day!
  6. Drink tea –– Tea contains a lot of antioxidants to fight aging, and it’s the perfect thing to add to your day!
  7. Eat more legumes –– They’re low in fat, high in fiber, and an excellent source of protein.
  8. Add olive and coconut oil to your diet –– Both are rich in unsaturated fats that will protect your heart, nourish your skin, and promote weight loss.
  9. Build muscle –– Don’t just do cardio, but add strength training to your life. The more muscle you have at a young age, the longer it takes your body to decline.
  10. Wear sunglasses –– Protect your eyes from the sun! They already use a lot of your energy on a daily basis, so you need to treat them right.
