Gingerbread Pie

Gingerbread Pie is an excellent holiday recipe – it’s like a gingerbread man big enough to feed the whole family, albeit in a less-cute shape. When the pie looks this good, though, I don’t mind and neither will your guests! Recipe and image via Sprinkle Bakes.


1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup molasses (not black strap)
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 1/2 tbsp flour
pinch of salt
2 tsp ground ginger (or more to taste)
1 tsp ground cinnamon
3 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk
1 9″ ready-made pie shell
