8 Ways to Shrink Your Belly FAST

Here’s how to get rid of belly fat…

Men have the ill-fortune of storing most of their excess body fat around their bellies. The rest of their body can be fairly slim, but their paunch will be far larger than they’d like–or than is healthy! Thankfully, there are a few ways to shrink your belly fast! Here’s what you’ll need to do:

  • Drink more green tea — Green tea contains special flavonoids and antioxidants that target belly fat specifically. The tea can help to speed up your metabolism (thanks to the minimal caffeine content), and it will turn up your inner thermostat to make fat burning easier.
  • Chew longer –– This sounds silly, but it works! The more you chew, the more saliva your mouth produces. The more saliva you produce, the better your food will be digested. Properly digested food will be easier for your body to absorb, helping you to stop eating sooner.
  • Eat more regularly — This won’t cause you to burn more calories, but it will stop you from overeating at meal-times. Have a small snack (no more than 300 calories) at mid-morning and mid-afternoon, and you’ll find that you have an easier time with your meals. Just make sure the snack is high quality protein, healthy fats, or whole carbs.’
  • Eat more protein –– Protein is the key to muscle synthesis, which in turn increases your daily calorie burn, which will make it easier to lose weight. You should try to eat more protein, but make it LOW FAT protein as much as possible. Limit your consumption of red meat and dairy products. Stick with chicken, eggs, fish, and legumes as much as possible. This is the key to serious fat blasting!

  • Cut sugar –– The less sugar you eat, the better! Your body produces insulin in order to control blood sugar levels. Less insulin means more glucagon, the hormone that helps to increase fat burning and prevents belly fat build-up. The closer you are to ZERO grams of sugar every day, the better!
  • Work your abs –– There is no way to “spot tone”, but you can burn more fat by building muscle. If you want to increase the amount of fat you burn around your stomach, you have to develop strong abs muscles. This means spending a few more minutes every two days doing exercises that strengthen your core and promotes muscle growth.
  • Up the intensity –– Don’t spend all of your cardio time jogging, slow cycling, or using the elliptical machine. While this will help to burn fat, you also cause muscle breakdown at the same time. Instead, do a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout. The high intensity intervals will cause your body to burn a lot of calories, forcing it to use up fat cells when you run out of blood sugar. Tack HIIT training onto the end of a resistance training workout, and you’re guaranteed extra fat burning! Plus, you’ll give your metabolism a boost that will remain for HOURS to come, rather than minutes.
  • Move more –– Losing weight and burning fat takes time, but you can speed up the process by moving around more. Instead of sitting to work, stand or walk while using your computer. Instead of driving to work, walk, run, or cycle. Instead of sitting to eat lunch, chow down while taking a leisurely stroll around the park. Walk everywhere, and you’ll burn A LOT more fat every day. Movement is the key to shrinking your belly fast.
