If you know anything about me, you know that typically I like an older, riper gentleman in a Tom Ford suit with a giant chip on his shoulder. You know, the whole salt & pepper type-A personality thing. Except I don’t know what it is, maybe it’s my new sense of maturity at 26 years old, or maybe it’s just the changing seasons- but I’ve found myself enjoying the company of a particularly beefy 25 year old man. He’s basically the beefiest, manliest thing I’ve ever encountered… a complete departure from the Upper East Side finance guys I might normally date. So I guess I wonder, does this make me a cougar? He’s 25 and I’m 26 (we’re 10 months apart), but in the scheme of life I feel like I’m at least 10 years older than him. I live so differently- business, family, being a mom, etc. Is it actual age or life position that makes a woman a cougar?

yeah, you are but not in the normal sense. by the looks of the guy he seems like he is still college-like but you have matured as you have said. you seem to like him because he has the younger type of lifestyle.
side question: what does he do?

30!!! Wow, I’m sorta excited! I’m so close to being a cougar… now to find me a younger man. LOL… I think it is maturity level that makes a difference. And hell, go for it! I have a friend who is 35 and engaged and expecting with a 25 year old. Go girl!
Can you be honest and admit that this entire post, particularly the “guys with iphones” photo, is a (shameless!) attempt to make your gay boyfriends jealous of you?
