Every year the big apple celebrates the new year by announcing the first baby born in the city. So considering there are thousands of pregnant women waddling through NYC at any given time, and countless doctors that are ready, willing, and able to deliver, I’m proud to announce that MY doctor was this year’s hero.
At 12:09 AM on New Year’s day, Dr. Seth Finkelstein delivered a healthy 6 pound, 3 ounce nugget named Grace Pak at the New York Hospital Queens.
Everyone’s pretty delighted. The Pak family welcomed their new celebrity baby, Dr. Finkelstein’s Jewish mother has been kvelling ever since, and now I can brag to my friends that my firstborn is being delivered by a famous doctor.
