How to Determine Your “Breakup Personality”

optimist,pessimist, realist, opportunist

Opportunist– The opportunist sees a glass of water, notices that people are arguing over it, and drinks it. The way an opportunist deals with a breakup is by taking every other opportunity out there. They may accomplish this by screwing every hole or appendage they can find, escaping to some exotic locale, and screwing every hole or appendage they can find, or jumping into a relationship with someone else who was on their waiting list. The problem with opportunists is that they are so eager to jump onto the next opportunity and run away that they don’t take time to reflect on what they are leaving behind. Your past is just as important as your future, so if you are an opportunist, enjoy the new adventures that life throws at you but don’t forget to learn from the old ones. Facing your breakup and your failures will help you move forward in a healthy way, and keep you from repeating the mistakes you made in the past.

No matter what your breakup personality is, there are about a million different ways to deal with the end of a relationship. My final word of advice is to think before you act, because breakups can get ugly. Get on Google, research your methods, and if how you are planning to deal with your failed partnership could potentially result in jail time, don’t do it.
