Do you remember back in the day (Tuesday) when online dating didn’t exist and people still used telephones? I do, because I used to call them all the time with my siblings and pretend to be girls named Candi, or Jiggletits. We would chat with guys in sexual ways and then right as they were about to orgasm we would do something ridiculous like make a farting noise, or start laughing like a crazy person.
If you watch any amount of late night TV, you know that phone sex lines still exist. They still try to sell the lie that sexy people stay in on Saturday nights and chat with random perverts. Somehow, they still make money.
So I guess my question is, with all the advancing technology, do you think that phone sex lines will eventually die out, or do you think that they offer some other benefit or connection that online dating doesn’t cover?
Should we all unplug, stop texting, and get back on our phones? Do any of us even remember how to use our phones?
