If its one word that comes to mind when I think of my own wedding, its ridiculous. People spend exorbitant amounts of time, money, and energy on their weddings, only to stress out about it so much that they end up with honeymoon hemorrhoids.
I want my wedding to be super memorable, but whether it becomes so because it is touching and beautiful, or because a stripper popped out of the cake and performed a donkey show, I don’t care. I have never been one to make plans because I know that plans don’t often work out. My own wedding day will probably be filled with a ton of mistakes and surprises, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Because at the end of the day, you aren’t celebrating a day, you are celebrating love. And NOTHING is messier than love. The people in these photos represent that idea, and I would be willing to be that most of their marriages worked out really well.
