A straight Las Vegas teen asked his gay best friend to prom.
Sometimes, a story comes along that just warms my crotch. Around this time of year we always hear all sorts of stories about lesbians getting kicked out of prom for wearing tuxes, gay couples being denied entrance based on their homosexuality, and trans teens having all sorts of issues just for being who they are.

Needless to say, this story is a lot different. Jacob Lescenski, a straight Las Vegas teen asked his gay best friend to prom. He made the included banner for Anthony Martin and posted it online. The happy couple of best friends have received all sorts of messages of support from all kinds of communities.
I have to say I am pretty excited for this, because it shows progress. I wish this would have happened to me in high school, but alas, I went to my senior prom with two lesbians. And yes, I had lesbian friends once. #AnythingIsPossible
