We have all heard the age-old adage: “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something…that came out of your vagina? In Tennessee of all places, (shocking, I know) a couple decided to give their month-old daughter a chance to participate in the wedding by attaching her to the train of the bride’s wedding dress.

Shona Carter-Brooks and Johnathan Brooks have become internet superstars because of their stupidity. The only reasoning they provided was: “The answer is we do what we want when we want long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gone continue to be fine.” If that isn’t rock-solid reasoning, I don’t know what is.

My only thought is, normally when they talk about “tying the knot” they aren’t talking about fastening an infant to a Jessica Mclintock budget wedding gown. To each his own though, right?
