Bryce Gruber’s Thoughts of the Day (blizzard edition)

Written by Bryce

Mom stuff, the best song EVER, and blizzarding around town.

Today’s thoughts are brought to you by the last blizzard of December 2010…

1) The Concept of “Home.” I think we all grow up with the notion of “home” being the place that we keep our stuff, rest our heads on our pillows, and can expect to see Mom and Dad. For a variety of reasons, however, I’m feeling more like a nomad these days… my home is anywhere my son may be. That kid is the center of my universe.

2) There’s a Blizzard Out There, Kids. There’s a blizzard going wild outside my window as I write these thoughts. That means I’ll be making hawt chocolate tonight and snow angels tomorrow. I also realize that I actually, for the first time ever, genuinely want to be with a man. Normally on a day like this I’d be beyond thrilled for some alone time, but today I find myself wanting my dude to travel downtown for hot drinks, fireplace time, and general closeness (take that however you’d like).

3) I Would Kill for Apple Crumble Right Now. Let it be known.
