Going green, while saving some green—yours!

Want some new ways to celebrate Earth Week?

Checkout the Go Green! Organic Mega Tasting at Union Square Wines this Saturday from 2:00pm – 5:00pm: http://www.unionsquarewines.com/wine-tastings/tasting-details.html?ip=riidoGLjdxIcv4ouBu8nHFH8I5b5gG1Afd1UgNib%2BCc%3D. I’ve been to many tastings here and when they say mega-tasting they rarely disappoint.

Next up, at Astor Wines at 399 Lafayette St, a short walk from Union Square, they’re pouring wines from the Loire Valley, as well as shaking up cocktail samples made from Rhum Clement, a liquor made from sugar cane, from Martinique. Astor’s tasting is from 3pm-5pm. http://www.astorwines.com/TastingEvents.aspx

Still standing?  Ok, it’s a little less than a mile walk if you want to try and make one more.  Hey, I did it in the rain—so I know it’s not that bad and it’s supposed to be nice on Saturday!  Le Du’s wines at 600 Washington Street is pouring the wines of Terry Theise from 3pm-6pm. http://www.leduwines.com/main.asp?request=EVENTS&event=293&

Walking is good for the environment.  Walking from free tasting to tasting is just good!
