Lazy Weekend Wear

Written by Bryce

Cute finds for a lazy day…

One of my resolutions for 2011 was to be more diligent about keeping my loungey weekend wear actually cute. In the past I’ve been guilty of awful sweatshirts, unflattering tees, and other fashion mishaps when I’m in the comfort of my own home sipping tea and reading the Sunday Times. That’s a bad habit for several reasons:

  • you never know who will show up at your door
  • if you’re going to be makeup-less you should at least put a minute of effort into coordinated clothes
  • you might be inspired to do something healthy like go for a 5 mile walk, and we all know you’ll never actually leave the house if you’re looking extra schlubby

That being said, I’m pretty pumped that IAmBeyond.com finally launched e-commerce. I got a preview pair of their quilted capri-length leggings a couple months ago and have been obsessed with them ever since. They wash well, are cute, have a fun waffle-ish texture, and can easily go from the gym to the couch.  Lately I’ve been loving the idea of this henley dress because it’s so versatile (and organic!)… wear it with leggings and boots for a lazy weekend afternoon running errands, as a nightgown, or a cute beach cover-up.
