When it’s okay to play with your food.

When I was little, my mom would always tell me to stop playing with my food when I’d form a mashed potato mountain, complete with a flowing river of gravy and a valley of peas. I wonder if she’d feel differently if I used the mashed potatoes as hair, peas as earrings, and gravy as..blush? Obviously not for myself, but for Ms. Food Face!
