America is a funny place. There was a time not so long ago where men were men, and women belonged in the kitchen, wearing dresses, having babies. Nowadays, in terms of fashion guys can run the gamut of masculine and feminine styles and still maintain their dignity. I am not sure the word metrosexual really applies anymore, but maybe that’s because I am living in a fashion bubble called New York City where anything goes. Regardless, here are some reasons you should date a metrosexual:
You can borrow each other’s clothes. Fashion is fun, so you might as well play with it. Menswear on women has been a major trend for a long time, so if you want to borrow his boxers to wear under your LBD, you should go for it (or vice versa).
Metrosexual men will be more likely to let you dress them up in your makeup. This role reversal can lead to some interesting games in the bedroom that leave him holding his asshole and crying in the fetal position on the floor.
If you have a makeup emergency, you can always borrow his guyliner.
You never have to worry about him looking schlubby at events. You may, however have to worry about him looking prettier than you, but at least he will keep you on your toes.
Metrosexuals are more in touch with their feminine side, thus they are more in touch with you. Relationships are just easier when the two people involved don’t treat each other like an alien species.
Where do you meet a metrosexual, you ask? Try the moisturizer section of an upscale department store. If that doesn’t work, go to your local Express and hang our around the sales rack for the 1MX shirts until one of them falls into your lap.
