Travel Spotting: Kitty Cafes in Japan

Written by Tanner

What The F-eline?!

Calling all crazy cat ladies: Cat Cafe’s now open in 39 locations in Tokyo Japan…W-T-Feline?! Japan has always been known as place where crazy trends run rampid; the biggest trend of late? Cat Cafes. Unlike the traditional cafe where one can go for a cup o’ joe or a gourmet sandwich,  visitors at Cat Cafes fill up not on caffeinated beverages but on play time with cats (just so long as they clean their hands with a special sanitizer and wear the provided booties). With at least 10 cats on duty working the floor at one time, you’re sure to get in some quality kitty playtime during your next visit!
