A California couple threw a weed wedding complete with an open marijuana bar.
When John Elledge, a professional weed grower, decided to marry he unknowingly started what was sure to be a new trend by offering 13 strains of marijuana and a ‘budtender’ to distribute the samples designed to make guests feel at total ease during the celebration.
The weed wedding was thrown on a Christmas tree farm in West Linn, Oregon, and included a ‘smoke tent’ where guests could go and ‘get blazed’ in between offering congratulations and dancing with the bride and groom.

The couple offered safe transportation to and from the venue, and were pleasantly surprised at how well-received the concept was.
Say what you will about attending horrible weddings, but I feel like having weed at your wedding is the perfect way to create great memories that you won’t remember, and of course, to calm down any bridezillas that may surface during the festivities.
